Cuvee from Sauvignon blanc, Furmint and Riesling
Sweet, intense aromas of ringlots and pears, juvenile soft sweetness on the palate - a noble "introductory sweet wine".
Our selection of Sauvignon blanc, Furmint and Riesling was harvested in several batches from mid-October 2017. The berries were about 40% of the noble rot infested and thus shrunk like raisins.
The last grapes from the Furmint in the Ried Vogelsang came to the cellar on October 31, the 500th anniversary of the Reformation - a worthy day for a great wine!
The must weight of the entire batches is 22 KMW (Klosterneuburger Mostwaage), which means a sugar content of the must of approx. 220g / l.
Extending the wine: full grape pressing, cooled fermentation, fermentation interruption by means of filtration, filling March 2017
Residual sugar: 58 g/l
Acidity: 5.4 g/l
