93 Points Falstaff
Dry, dark ruby red with violet notes, intense fruit, pure blueberry, with fine toasted notes on the palate enormous concentration, very concentrated, racy, elegant with the typical spice of Blaufränkisch. Our flagship with the Reds!
The location Bandkreftn is characterized by a high proportion of lime sediment and clay. Both are ideal factors for the production of premium Blaufränkisch wines. The vines were planted in 1970.
Obviously (in our case totally in the plane) the situation is not spectacular - but it convinces every year with wines of high intensity.
