Deep dark ruby garnet colour, opaque core, violet reflexes, subtle rim. Fine noble wood aromas, a touch of cardamom, black cherries, plums, candied orange zest, inviting blackberry confit. Powerful, ripe cherries, present, supporting tannins, fine acidity structure, minerally and adherent, needs some time in the bottle to develop.
